They resemble the four fruits of righteous action gathered around Dasharatha, jewel among rulers. Dharma has ripened not into abstraction but into eight youthful lives joined through sacred relationship.

Every service, vow, worship, protection, and act of righteousness seems to have taken a face within the mandap.
