The brahmins acknowledge that the true fault does not belong to Pratapbhanu. He intended hospitality, trusted the form of his priest, and stood ready to serve what an enemy had secretly corrupted.
Yet fate has ripened through every mistaken step. The boar, thirst, false hermit, impossible boon, secrecy, disguised priest, and vanished kitchen have converged upon words that spiritual power makes effective.
A brahmin's curse, once pronounced, cannot be undone. Its force is called supremely terrible because even discovered innocence cannot reverse it. The king faces a consequence larger than personal intention, born from deception, fear, and speech released before wisdom.
The truth arrives, yet the spoken curse continues forward without turning.
