Hari's births and deeds are beautiful, blissful, and endlessly various. In every cosmic age the Lord assumes forms and performs new Leelas. Great sages receive these events, sing them, and shape supremely sacred texts so that each age may hear what another witnessed.
The accounts differ without surprising the wise. Hari is infinite, so his stories cannot be confined to one telling. Saints gather to speak and listen in many ways, while even millions of kalpas cannot bring the lovely deeds of Ramchandra to an end.
Shiva has told the Narada episode to reveal that Maya can bewilder even a discerning sage. Yet the Lord remains playful, devoted to the welfare of devotees, easily reached through service, and powerful enough to remove every sorrow. The bewilderment itself becomes a path back to him.
Kalpas pass like waves, while the shoreless deeds of Ram continue to be sung.
