Saar (Essence)

Ananta guides seekers to recognize their unborn, eternal nature by remaining in the present moment, beyond the mind's conceptual grasp. He emphasizes that this recognition is consciousness reminding itself of its own source.

Discovery can only happen right now, not in projections of the future or post-mortems of the past.
You cannot solve this like an equation; these pointings work on their own through openness and allowing.
This is your own intuitive presence reminding itself of its own source.

Ananta

When will the discovery happen? Now only. We know it can happen only right now. It cannot happen in a projection of the future and it cannot happen in the post-mortem of the past. What is it that you are right now? Every clue which is available in Vedanta you have right now. In the nineteen chapters of the Ashtavakra Gita, almost every clue in the Vedanta has been heard by you now. In this moment, here and now, what is it that you are?

Ananta

Suppose if you don't go along with what the mind might be saying, and you don't go along with what the quality or content of your thinking is right now? Don't go with any of these, don't resist any of that, of course. Find out what witnesses that. Come to the unchanging. The truly, when we use the words the unborn, undying, the eternal, it is not just a concept; it is your own direct experience. And all these pointing things are not something for you to do. Just allow them some space in which they can enter.

Ananta

You cannot solve it. You see, you cannot solve it like an equation. 'I will add three plus two multiplied by five equals fifty-five. Yes, I'm here trying to solve it like this.' Don't take it like that. What is this? You see, you cannot get it through these phenomenal tools. Let these words do their work on their own. This sense of allowing, if that is possible in satsang, just to keep that just opens up. Because the mind will take even these pointings and make a doer out of you. Then you will try it: 'Am I the right witness? Is this really good? Is it really unchanging?' It will become like that.

Ananta

With some openness, know that this is your own intuitive presence which is speaking. It is only using the body of this so-called Ananta to communicate, but what is the voice speaking? Your own intuitive presence is reminding itself of its own source. Where does consciousness come from? It is this itself. So far, consciousness has been playing on this side of the field where things are moving. Now, play on this side of the field where there is nothing. This is a simple recognition. Who is coming to this recognition? It is the dynamic aspect of the Self.
