Saar (Essence)

Ananta emphasizes that existence itself is the primary light of the world, urging seekers to drop the persistent mask of individuality and recognize that their true nature remains unaffected by thoughts, emotions, or life events.

Your heart is the light of the world; do not let your mind hide it.
You will become a pink elephant before you can ever truly become a person.
The problem is that you got so used to the mask that you feel naked without it.

And experience always has been that the thing has existed without the light of our existence. Can you say that something has existed unless you were there? For this beautiful quote in the Upanishads about a sage asking, 'So in which light do you see the world?' The student says, 'I see the world in the sun.' The sage says, 'In which light do you see the sun?' You see, even the sun cannot be unless you exist. What is primary from your own insight? What is this very existence which is the light of the world? Basically, your heart is the light of the world. Don't let your mind hide it. This is what it means. Now, how does the mind hide it? This is easy to see. Does it stop you from being the light of the world? No. It does not. It cannot do it in reality. So the only difference is the heart itself, consciousness itself, believing that it is something limited, it is something personal.

Now the idea is so deeply ingrained that for four years now I have been saying this, and some of you have been there almost from the very beginning, and yet the sense that 'I am this limited one' and 'When will I get to my final freedom?' can be a testimony to how strong this power of conditioning can be. Quickly the mask of being an individual is picked up. It's almost like we're waiting for the next excuse to be able to pick it up. Waiting for the next strong emotion to come, waiting for the next form event to happen, waiting for some relationship thing to happen, waiting for some money thing to happen. And you can feel like, 'There it is again, I'm back to being personal.' This is never, ever, ever true. No matter what is appearing, you will become a pink elephant before you can ever become a person. The pink elephant is as far-fetched an idea as that. What is this person? It might be, 'I don't believe that it is God.' Or as Bharat was saying, 'I don't feel like I'm God.' It has nothing to do with what you're feeling. 'I don't think I'm God.' It definitely doesn't have anything to do with what you are thinking or believing.

Ananta

What needs to happen? What certificate are you waiting for? 'I'm waiting for the bliss certification, that when bliss is a constant thing, then I will be free.' Or, 'I'm waiting for life events to be only a certain way.' If you believe any of these two rules, then you pick up the mask. And ultimately the problem is that you got so used to the mask that you feel naked without it. In reality, there is no reason to have any concern about the non-existent. We keep coming back to: what kind of game is this?

Ananta

How many of you feel like if no concept was to ever appear in your life again, that will be completely fine? How many of you feel that even if millions of concepts come, you are completely fine? So there it shows you that something might be waiting for the mind to stop being this concept machine. You feel like if it's not there, good; if it is coming, then I'm not fine. But I have told you many times that even if you identify, the truth is not changing. Really, it might be a bit much. Can we check about events in our life, emotions that we are feeling, pain or pleasure? Any time if you feel limited, there's something we have believed—a limitation about ourselves.
