Saar (Essence)

Ananta urges seekers to abandon all conceptual positions, including notions of freedom or consciousness, to discover a natural state that is independent of any spiritual identity or mental definition.

Don't take on any position, even the position of awareness or freedom.
Let everything come and go; the mind's function is to surrender to this flow.
Discover your true self, which is completely independent of any phenomenal spiritual accomplishment.

We want to... if I want to begin before we start quickly, the words that you hear, even the words in the Satsang, should not be used for having the reference point of the position. Because of them, what that means is that sometimes even the pretense of pointing 'I am consciousness' and that which words contain, very quickly we can make a position or something out of that and sort of define our position as a clear something. All of these words are meant just to take away all ideas that we have. So don't even take on awareness as a position. Don't even take on freedom as a position. Don't take on dissolution, don't take on 'the world is contained in me' as a position. Don't take consciousness as a position. Don't take nothing as a position.

Ananta

If you take nothing as a position, then when it comes like this big black empty space, even that is not a position. And I know that for a while it can seem a bit shaky to not have a position. You can feel like 'I'm falling' or 'I'm dying.' But I am here for that. My first time when I was in Peru, I saw who sees the girl? She came up and said, 'Guruji, I feel like my head is going to explode. What do I do?' She felt like her head was going to explode. He said, 'If it was meant to be a headache, it's proving it'd like to get here.' What happens when we invite like that? And it is that it will be nothing. There's no 'me' in this. This is something before it came out. If this was just wrong, never fear. Don't have any terror.

Ananta

If you think of them, my group, maybe the tiniest of sensations can tell you the truth. So for downing them, you don't know what to do. That is what the benefit was of having a living Master in our life, so that he can tell you that all this can happen, all this stuff, but actually they have no power. This case is a little fun. Don't make any position out of anything. The deal we have is to put in the world, or in fact all concepts, to the job's safety. And we will see that it continues with its own beautiful... is the mind. My mind might not agree. The surface is its own way. To the mind, the certificate of the mind's function is to surrender this boat. So let's let everything come and go.

Ananta

Where this can happen is that the most well-intended thing, even a fine thing like 'you are not the doer, you are not the sufferer,' even these most well-intended pointings can wait until they are still elevated as a position of our dancers. 'Oh, I as the body-mind am not the doer.' Unless an inner flower flourishes at that mark, a discovery in the interval, don't take on any position. Don't try to make something out of you, whatever that something might be. So they're coming with the offer that you will come to suppose an enlightened state. By the sources, we come in tears. Let's say this and we will see: what is the extent of your spiritual accomplishment? No, the best thing is to forget all that. Thank you. In this, we discover our children, independent of any phenomenal world.
